With PROTURCARS there are no unpleasant surprises.

 Can I choose the brand or model of my car?

You can choose the vehicle group that guarantees you certain characteristics, and in each group there is a specific model. If the requested group is not available at the time of delivery, a higher group will be delivered at no extra charge. We cannot guarantee a specific type of fuel (petrol or diesel) or colour. 

 Do I need a credit card to make my booking?

Yes, since 1% of the total amount of the reservation is charged as a guarantee, which will be deducted from the total amount due upon delivery of the vehicle. In case of cancellation of the reservation, and provided that the cancellation conditions are met, this amount will be refunded.

 Are there age restrictions for renting a car?

Minimum age 21 years and 2 years of driving licence.

Who can drive the car?

Only persons listed in the contract as main or additional driver.

Can I drive with a foreign license?

Before driving in our country you must find out if your driving license is valid to drive in Spain, if you must exchange it or if you need to obtain the International License. Depending on the origin of your driving license, the requirements for driving in Spain may vary. Licenses issued in countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) are fully valid for driving in Spain as long as they are valid.

Can I take a car off of the islands?

No. You are not allowed, not even within islands. You are not covered by our insurance.

 Do I have to pay an excess or deposit?

No. All our vehicles are fully insured without excess or deposit and include CDW and SCDW insurance.

 Can I have a look to the rates before booking the car?

All you have to do is pick the rental dates and times, the car you want and you will be quoted a price. If you agree with this price, than you can go ahead with the booking, by registering as a new user with password (alphanumeric is accepted without special characters)and filling the form with all the requested data.

Once the process has been completed, you will receive an e-mail with all the details of your booking request informing you that it has been made correctly and with all the information. Fuel Policy

The vehicle is delivered with a certain level of fuel at the time of rental, and the renter must return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as when it was delivered. No reimbursement will be made for the wrong fuel level.

 Which documents do I need to receive my car?

Please bring your passport or ID card, drivers licence and credit card. If there are additional drivers, passport or ID card and drivers licence.

 Can I pick up and return the car at different locations?

Yes, it is sufficient if it is specified at the time of booking, as long as it is in one of our pick-up and drop-off zones. A minimum of 3 full days of rental is required for pick-up or drop-off at the airport, plus payment of the corresponding extra service charge, otherwise the reservation will not be valid.

 How can I cancel my reservation? Is there any penalty for canceling

 Cancellations without penalty must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the rental period, which will be understood to be 08.00 h on the first day. Otherwise the following applies: Between 48 h and 24 h 50% of the total agreed price will be paid. - Less than 24 hours, 100% of the total agreed price will be paid.

 Can I pick up and return the car directly at the Airport?

Yes. Airport pick-up is on the 3rd floor of the car park building, in the lift hall. Drop-off is on the 3rd floor. Delivery and return at the airport requires a minimum of 3 full days of rental, plus the payment of the corresponding extra charge for each service; otherwise the reservation will not be valid.

 Is the compulsory car insurance included in the fee?

Yes, the coverage of the compulsory Car insurance and liability insurance to ensure damages against third parties are always included in the rental.
